For this is good and acceptable in the sight of </B></I></div> <div> <I><B>God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved, and to </B></I></div> <div> <I><B>come unto the knowledge of the truth. </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <B>TO ACCOMPLISH THIS A WEEKLY PRAYER ALERT IS </B></div> <div> <B>BEING SENT TO BELIEVERS ACROSS AMERICA AND </B></div> <div> <B>AROUND THE WORLD. The first half of its contents consists </B></div> <div> <B>of a current prayer need concerning nations, leaders and </B></div> <div> <B>world events. The second half consists of a prayer for that </B></div> <div> <B>specific need, based on God's Word. (Click above on </B></div> <div> <B>"OUR PRAYER RESOURCES" and "CURRENT PRAYER </B></div> <div> <B>ALERTS") </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>IN ADDITION, THE NATIONAL PRAYER EMBASSY ALSO </B></div> <div> <B>SPONSORS "PRAYER TOURS" OF VARIOUS MAJOR CITIES, </B></div> <div> <B>passing many of the main buildings associated with the </B></div> <div> <B>government, economy, military and media, using them as </B></div> <div> <B>reminders to pray for all those in authority around the world. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>REGULAR WEEKLY PRAYER TOURS OF WASHINGTON, D.C. </B></div> <div> <B>WERE STARTED FROM OUR LOCAL CHURCH IN 1983. In </B></div> <div> <B>1994 special annual prayer tours of Washington, D.C. were </B></div> <div> <B>started in conjunction with KENNETH COPELAND </B></div> <div> <B>MINISTRIES' WASHINGTON, D.C. VICTORY CAMPAIGNS, in </B></div> <div> <B>which each year the Copeland staff announces our tours from </B></div> <div> <B>their platform and allows us to take reservations with a banner </B></div> <div> <B>at a table in their lobby.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>AGAIN IN CONJUNCTION WITH KENNETH COPELAND </B></div> <div> <B>MINISTRIES' WEST COAST BELIEVERS CONVENTIONS, </B></div> <div> <B>ANNUAL PRAYER TOURS OF HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA </B></div> <div> <B>WERE STARTED IN 1996, to pray for Godly values to </B></div> <div> <B>prevail in the Entertainment Industry. As in Washington, D.C., </B></div> <div> <B>each year the Copeland staff announces our Hollywood tours </B></div> <div> <B>from their platform and allows us to take reservations with a </B></div> <div> <B>banner at a table in their lobby.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>A SIMILAR PRAYER TOUR WAS HELD FROM KENNETH </B></div> <div> <B>COPELAND'S VICTORY CAMPAIGN IN NEW YORK CITY IN </B></div> <div> <B>1997. From 1997 - 2002 Prayer Tours from local churches were </B></div> <div> <B>also held in several other American cities, INCLUDING LAS </B></div> <div> <B>VEGAS, OKLAHOMA CITY, TULSA AND COLORADO SPRINGS. </B></div> <div> <B>Since 1983 the National Prayer Embassy has helped organize Washington, D.C. It consists of </B></div> <div> <B>several different specific prayers based on God's Word, such </B></div> <div> <B>as "PRAYING GOD'S WORD FOR UPCOMING ELECTIONS, " </B></div> <div> <B>"PRAYING PSALM 91 FOR AMERICA" and "PRAYING GOD'S </B></div> <div> <B>WORD FOR THE MEDIA, " ". . . FOR THE ECONOMY," ". . . FOR </B></div> <div> <B>THE MILITARY," ETC.
